We have lots of great events coming up for students, especially if you are entering the last half of your years in the program!
ND Opportunities Night will be Wednesday, September 9th from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Memorial Union Great Room.
Many pharmacy leaders from around the state will be here, sharing information about specific job opportunities throughout the state. Come, ask questions, and chat with our local practitioners who are here to meet prospective employees! This is a great way to express interest in a career and start creating meaningful contacts.
There is a signup for this at this link!
College of Health Professions Career Fair will be Thursday, September 10th from 10:00am-2:30pm at the Fargodome.
Most professors have given the students the day off so we can go to this event. This is a great opportunity to see the many careers that are available in our area in one location. Feel free to just come and look at the options or chat with the recruiters! They are here to meet YOU so don't be afraid!

Pharmacists: Are any of you (or your employers) attending? Do you have tips for the students attending any of these events?
Students: Who is planning on attending? Are you going with specific jobs in mind or are you going to look at the options available?
Unfortunately, I work during the Opportunities Night so I won't make that, but I will be attending the Career Fair and the Residency Showcase! I went to the Showcase last year and found it very beneficial. I loved being able to connect with the sites I had planned on possibly attending and also found new sites that piqued my interest.
